PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maneuvering supporting device suitable for a maneuvering person to easily maneuver a ship in arriving at a shore, a maneuvering supporting method, a control program for the maneuvering supporting device, and a travel controller.;SOLUTION: In the maneuvering supporting device, a travel controlling system 1 comprises a port-side outboard motor 2, a bow-side outboard motor 3, and a propulsive force controller 4. The propulsive force controller 4 comprises an electronic throttle valve control section 40, an electronic shift control section 41, an electronic steering control section 42, a hull parameter learning section 43, and a maneuvering supporting control section 44. The maneuvering supporting control section 44 comprises a GPS 44a for detecting the present position of the hull, a storage medium 44b for storing information required for the maneuvering support, a target control value calculation module 44d for calculating a target propulsive force and a target parallel moving angle based on predetermined input information, a shore arrival determining section 44e for determining the shore arrival, and an information display section 44f for displaying information related to the shore arrival support.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
