PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform seamless data reception even when a connection is switched to a different base station during reception of IP multicast packets by a mobile station without modifying an application at all as to a wireless communication system having a connection type data link layer.;SOLUTION: When the mobile station 10 switches a reception partner to another base station 106 during reception of Internet protocol multicasting from a base station 105, the mobile station 107 requests the base station 106 to establish a broadcast link, a unicast link, or a multicast link and requests a router 104 connected to the base station 106 to transfer multicast packets, thereby carrying on the reception of Internet protocol multicasting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
