PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inexpensive spring energy-accumulation mechanism of a switchgear which can be prevented from unwanted sound and breakage.;SOLUTION: This spring energy-accumulation mechanism 1 comprises a motor 33, a motor unit 31 having a reduction gear, an output gear 2 and a case 35 for covering these, a supporting shaft 50 for rotatably supporting the motor unit 31, a power transmission gear 3 interlocked with the output gear 2, a rotary shaft 4 for fixedly supporting the power transmission gear 3, a protruding member 32 protruding toward the outside from the rotary shaft 4, a cam 6 fixed to the rotary shaft 4 rotating around the rotary shaft 4 in conjugation with a closing spring 30, and a lever 9 which turns by colliding with the cam 6 rotating, separates a movable contact 7 in conjugation from a fixed contact 8, or abuts on the fixed contact 8 to finish an opening or a closing operation.
