PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for containing and registering with a private branch exchange in which a registering work cab be simply and accurately performed and to provide a private branch exchange system.;SOLUTION: The private branch exchange 12 establishes 100 at a radio link to a radio IP telephone 140. The exchange 12 sends a radio link on signal 102 by the telephone 140 to a telephone processing unit 140c at a time T10. The exchange 12 sets to pass all information to be supplied from the telephone 140. The telephone 140 outputs an IP address interrupt request signal 104 to the exchange 12 at a time T14. The system controller 130 of the exchange 12 extracts an MAC address included in the signal 104, relates the MAC address to the set information (IP address and telephone number), contains and registers the address and the information, and supplies an IP address interrupt response signal 106 including the set information to the terminal to a telephone processing unit 140c.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
