The plastic cage (21) for a ball bearing has pockets (23) with cylindrical surfaces (24a) and conical surfaces (26). The radius (r1) of the conical surfaces at their widest point is greater than the radius (r2) of the cylindrical surfaces. An independent claim is included for an angular contact ball bearing fitted with the cage.
