PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage an image by normal file management and to obtain a target image only by simple key operations.;SOLUTION: A target image file is sorted and stored in the last folder of hierarchical structure. Presence/absence of an image file with the same name as a folder is checked for all folders which are one grade below in the hierarchy when a current folder is in halfway of folder hierarchy in retrieval. When the image file with the same name exists, the image file is secured and when no image file with the same name exists, a substitute image file is secured. The image of the image file is displayed on a browser as image keys of each folder. The retrieval enters deep hierarchy of hierarchical folders by selecting the image key, when the folder hierarchy reaches the last, the presence/absence of the image file with the same name as the folder is checked for the last folder when the folder hierarchy becomes the last. When the image file with the same name exists, the image file is secured, when an image file with a different name exists, the leading image file is secured and when no image file exists, the substitute image file is secured.
