PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply manufacturing, at low cost, an electric lamp equipped with an external envelope and an internal vessel, in particular, a discharge vessel disposed in the external envelope.;SOLUTION: A discharge vessel 2 with one side sealed is prepared; a second tube is overlaid on a part of the discharge vessel; a volume body of the external envelope is evacuated and filled through a pump hole.
