PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gypsum board for construction capable of being disposed of as a stable waste product while enhancing the strength.;SOLUTION: This gypsum board for construction makes a nonwoven fabric comprising a glass fiber to be a surface material as a substitute for a board stencil of the gypsum board for construction. The nonwoven fabric comprising the glass fiber which is an inorganic substance is used for the surface material as a substitute for the stencil board which is an organic substance, thereby running out of a chemical by decaying is reduced. As a result, the gypsum board for construction can be disposed of in stable waste treating equipment as the stable waste product. Furthermore, an orienting property of a fiber in the nonwoven fabric comprising the glass fiber is lower than that in the board stencil, thereby difference between a breaking load in a length direction and a width direction is little, and the breaking load in the nonwoven fabric is larger than that in the stencil board.
