PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof protection technology for a cable durable for a wide practical use by considering not only a fireproof protection performance in the case of a fire but also a size (capacity) and durability.;SOLUTION: A fireproof protection structure 10 for the cable includes a sheath material 20 attached to a laid body 80 to surround ducts 70, 70, and 70 which contain the cable, and a thermal insulation material 30 which is laminated to be superposed on the inner surface of the sheath material 20. The thermal insulation material 30 laminated in five layers is formed at a middle third layer of a low heat conductive thermal insulation material 33. This low heat conductive thermal insulation material 33 has a porous structure of fine inorganic particles having a mean particle size of 1-100 nm, and a thermal conductivity at 800°C of 0.02 to 0.1 W/(m K).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
