PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a hitting ball sound without actually trying a golf club.;SOLUTION: A calculation model 10 is prepared by element-dividing a golf club head like a mesh on a computer, and the modal parameter of a calculation model 10 is calculated based on unique value analysis by inputting a material physical value to each element 11, and a preliminarily calculated exciting force to be generated in the golf club when hitting a ball is inputted to a node 12 of an element 11 of the calculation model 10 so that head vibration when hitting a ball can be reproduced based on the modal parameter, and a wave equation is solved with the excitation result as boundary conditions so that the frequency characteristics of a sound pressure when hitting a ball can be acquired.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
