PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support program capable of accurately simulating action of a curled flexible medium in a conveying path.;SOLUTION: Before motion processing computing, the curled flexible medium is defined as an optional shape. Shape of the curl is set by inputting numeric. After starting motion processing computing, force is generated to form a curl in an end of the flexible medium. The flexible medium is divided into a plurality of rigid components having mass, and each rigid component is connected to each other by a spring to form a model. Angle formed by each rigid component in the curled part is obtained, and a part, in which the curl part is not defined, is considered as a straight part, and angle formed by each rigid component is set at 0°. When motion processing computing, the described angle are used as reference angles, and restoring force of the spring of each rigid component is computed to get the reference angle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
