PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint verifying device which has no problems of losing and replacement or the like, and can reduce the labor required for management since an installation cost can be reduced. PSOLUTION: The fingerprint verifying device (1) is composed of: a device main body (2); a fingerprint verifying unit (21); a patient information input means (3); and/or a patient image input means (6). The device main body (2) comprises: a CPU (4) provided with a processing means (4A) for relating fingerprint information and the individual information and/or attribute information of patients; an annunciation means and/or display means (5) for making an operator recognize the operation state of respective means; and a communication means (2C) for outputting the fingerprint information and individual information and/or attribute information of the patients to an information output means (8) and/or an external device (30). The patient information input means (3) and/or the patient image input means (6) are incorporated in the device main body (2) and/or the fingerprint verifying unit (21) or are connected to them through the communication means (3C, 6C).
