Wireless base station, wireless node, wireless communication system, and wireless communication method

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption at a wireless node in back off control, in a wireless communication system. PSOLUTION: A wireless base station monitors percentage of access period which is a subtraction object of back off time. Based on the percentage, a subtraction rate of the back off time is calculated. The subtraction rate or the back off parameter calculated based on the subtraction rate is notified to each wireless node. Meanwhile, each wireless node calculates the time of back off based on the received subtraction rate or back off parameter. The back off time can transit into a sleep state, thereby reducing power consumption compared with conventional one. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
