PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent separation of conductive adhesive gels due to the bending of a sheet of base material for an electrode member for organism having a pair of electrode parts, while increasing the mounting strength and stability of terminals for enhanced workability for connection with a connector, and preventing imperfect contact between the terminals and conductive layers.;SOLUTION: In the electrode member for organism, two split conductive layers 2a and 2b are provided on the lower surface of a sheet 1 of base material and two terminals 3a and 3b making contact with both conductive layers are attached. Conductive adhesive gels 4a and 4b are brought into intimate contact with the lower surfaces of both conductive layers to form a pair of electrode parts 5a and 5b. A reinforcing sheet (serving also as support sheet) 9 for making the sheet 1 of base material resistant to bending is positioned between both conductive adhesive gels 4a and 4b. The sheet 1 of base material is thus reinforced to resist bending between both conductive adhesive gels to prevent separation of the gels due to bending. Both terminals 3a and 3b are secured to the support sheet 9 serving also as the reinforcing sheet to increase the mounting strength and stability of the terminals for enhanced workability for connections, while preventing imperfect contact.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
