PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of a retainer and needle rollers which materializes reduction in weight and improvement in passage of lubricating oil and maintains strength, while surely preventing the assembly of the retainer and the needle rollers from being separated in the assembled state, and a thrust needle roller bearing.;SOLUTION: In the assembly of the retainer and needle rollers, at least one of two flange parts (41, 42) of the retainer has a thickness in the width direction of the part opposed to an opening bigger than that of the part opposed to a column part.
