PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination apparatus using solar heat and biomass which can reduce emission of carbon dioxide and the like, which are reduction targets of the Kyoto Protocol, improve a facility operating ratio, and improve energy efficiency, and a greening method using the desalination apparatus using solar heat and biomass. PSOLUTION: The desalination apparatus comprises a heat collection part 5 for receiving solar heat to heat water, an evaporation part 7 for evaporating the heated water, a turbine part 9 driven by steam generated in the evaporation part 7, a power generation part 11 driven by the turbine part 9, and a combustion part 17 for burning biomass.
