The present invention provides a high-speed countercurrent chromatograph that maintains good distribution. Four coiled columns formed by spirally winding a spiral tube 60 around the frame 64 are provided. Each of the coiled columns 35 to 38 is held by the first and second unitized members so as to be capable of rotating, thereby forming a column unit. The column unit is arranged in the chromatograph main body so that the center of gravity is located on the revolution axis. When the column unit rotates once, each coiled column 35 to 38 revolves once counterclockwise and rotates one turn clockwise. The number of rotations and the number of revolutions are associated with each other, and are configured in advance so as to make one rotation for one revolution. This relationship holds even when the angular velocity is changed.
