PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain lactobacillus-fermented food securing a quite long period of validity compared to conventional yoghurt, and having an intestinal function regulating action, as a matter of course and various excellent pharmacologic actions, and to provide a method for producing the fermented food.;SOLUTION: The lactobacillus-fermented milk as food is obtained by mixing 0.05-0.5 (center value of 0.1) pt. of killed bacteria body of Streptococcus lactis belonging to genus Enterococcus with 100 pts. of raw milk, and adding to the product two kinds of lactobacilli of thermophilus and bulgaricus followed by fermenting. The Streptococcus lactis belonging to genus Enterococcus is selected from the group consisting of Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, Enterococcus bovis, Enterococcus avium, Enterococcus durans, Enterococcus salivarius, Enterococcus mitis, and Enterococcus equinus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
