PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool magazine device and a vertical machining center equipped with the tool magazine device simple in constitution, high in reliability and having high repetition accuracy when mounting tools without soiling the other tools with a liquid coolant, mist, chip, or the like.;SOLUTION: The tool magazine device 8 has a magazine rotating mechanism 10, a rotating disk 9a mounted to the magazine rotating mechanism 10, and a plurality of tool chucks 14 for gripping a plurality of tool holders 16a in a mountable manner in the circumferential direction. The tips of the respective tools 16 are radially enclosed in the plurality of tool chucks 14 toward the rotational center of the rotating disk 9a, and the rotating disk 9a is integrally provided with radial partition plates 9b serving as shields between the mutually adjacent tools.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
