PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology to establish TTR display, which can be detected on a long loop with large noise, in ADSL annex C type communication systems.;SOLUTION: In a synchronization method, which synchronizes an initial procedure to TTR, in an ADSL annex C type communication system that has a transmission node and a receiving node, which are connected so as to enable communication, a special definition signal is transmitted during the period of one or more sets of known FEXT symbols related to a first output hyper frame. When the signal is received at the receiving node, the synchronization to the TTR is established by the special definition signal to enable the initial procedure for synchronization.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
