PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion nozzle capable of reducing inclusion of mold powder in a continuously cast slab to consistently and continuously cast steel with less flaws caused by non-metallic inclusions and high cleanliness.;SOLUTION: In the immersion nozzle 5 for continuous casting, a plurality of discharge holes 8 having the discharge angle of 0-15° in the upward direction from the horizontal plane are formed in a nozzle side wall 7 on a tip side of the immersion nozzle 5, and auxiliary discharge holes of bottom holes 10 having the diameter of 15-75% of the inside diameter of a nozzle hole 6 are formed in a nozzle bottom face 9 at the tip of the immersion nozzle 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
