Double talk detector, double-talk detection method and echo canceller

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve double-talk detection precision and a double-talk detection speed.;SOLUTION: A double-talk detector is provided with: a near end background noise estimation means which obtains a power estimation value of the near end background noise based on a residual signal of an echo canceler; a transmission input average power calculation means which obtains an average power value of a transmission input signal; a reception input average power calculation means which obtains an average power value of a reception input signal; an attenuation value estimation means which obtains an echo pass attenuation estimation value by a predetermined echo pass attenuation value estimation method based on a power estimation value of the near end background noise and respective average power values of the transmission input signal and the reception input signal; and a double-talk discrimination means which detects a double-talk condition based on the echo pass attenuation estimation value, the average power value of the transmission input signal and the average power value of the reception input signal, and controls coefficient update processing of an adaptive filter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
