PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely track and photograph attention drawing events during athletics by a camera automatic control unit used to photograph sports athletics etc. PSOLUTION: An image matching unit 14 of a controller 12 performs image matching between a face image 22 as an object of gaze detection photographed by a camera 11 for gaze detection and a face image model 25 in a face image storage section 15 to find a gaze vector 31 corresponding to the recognized face image model 25. A photographed object position estimating unit 16 finds a gaze 32 from the gaze vector 31 and finds a photographed object estimated position 36 from gazes 32 of a plurality of objects of gaze detection. A camera control unit 17 for athletic photography controls a camera 13 for athletic photography so that the camera 13 for athletic photography can track and photograph an object 52 to be photographed at the photographed object estimated position 36.
