PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural channel member having secured bending strength/rigidity of the flange part in cross section inexpensively without increasing weight by molding a reinforcement shape integrally with a member of U shape in cross section, an elevator in which the structural channel member is adopted, and a method and a device for molding the structural channel member.;SOLUTION: This structural channel member 1 of the car frame of an elevator comprises a web part 1a and flange parts 1b, 1b bent from both ends of the web part 1a to the same side. A part of the web part 1a extending over the entire width and parts of both flange parts 1b, 1b connected to that part are partially extended from at least one position in the longitudinal direction to form an extended projection 3 deformed to the space 4 side of the member of U shape in cross section in the opening direction.
