PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating cover structure for a four-stroke cycle outboard engine miniaturizing the molding die of a resin cover component without restricting engine assembling procedures, reducing the manufacturing cost, and having a sufficient ventilation function.;SOLUTION: This ventilating cover structure 50 for an outboard engine 2 is provided with a cam pulley 16 provided at the protrusion part of a camshaft 15 and a flywheel 12a provided at an upper portion than a crank pulley 11. A first cover body 60 covering at least the flywheel 12a and opened downward is provided above an engine block 8, a second cover body 80 covering an upper part and opened downward is provided above the engine block on the protrusion side of the camshaft 15, and both cover bodies 60, 80 are integrally connected so that their inner spaces are allowed to communicate with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
