PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of simultaneously determinating T (H-3), 14C (C-14) or the like discharged from a nuclear installation or the like by chemical form. SOLUTION: In a method for simultaneously trapping and sampling HTO, HT, CH3T, 14CO2 and 14CH4 in the atmosphere by chemical form, the atmosphere containing those components is supplied to an HTO trapping column to collect HTO and 14CO2 is collected in a CO2 trapping column. After H2 is added to the exhaust air from the column, HT is oxidized to HTO by a Pd-containing catalyst in an HT oxidizing column and H is trapped as HTO in an HT trapping column and, after methane is added to the exhaust air from the column, CH3T is converted to HTO and 14CH4 is converted to 14CO2 by a Pt-containing catalyst in a methane oxidizing column, and CH3T and 14CH4 are respectively trapped in a CH3T trapping column and a 14CH4 trapping column.
