PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fear of an increase in production cost by pulling out a center core bar by connecting a second connecting means with a first connecting means so that the center core bar is not injured, its durability is improved and, a device is made to be inexpensive with a simple constitution. ;SOLUTION: A device for pulling out a center core bar 73 from a bent molded square pipe wherein a core bar set made by building up side cores on upper/bottom faces of the center core bar 73 is inserted into a square pipe for performing a bend molding. A core bar pull out device 10 comprises a first connecting means 60 mounted on the center core bar 73, a second connecting means 41 equipped with an open/close claw 50 for engaging with the first connecting means 60, an energization means for energizing the open/ close claw 50 to an engaging side. Also, it comprises a connecting means forward/backward transfer means 40 which forwards the second connecting means 41 towards the first connecting means 60 and retreats the manes 41 after it being connected and, an open/close claw opening means 30 installed for opening the claw 50 during pretreatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
