PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent which can impart excellent antistatic properties to a synthetic polymer material without detriment to the hue or transparency inherent in the synthetic polymer material; a production method of the antistatic agent; and a synthetic polymer material composition containing the antistatic agent.;SOLUTION: The antistatic agent contains, as a substantial component, a phosphonium sulfonate salt consisting of a specific organic sulfonate anion and a specific organic phosphonium cation, and contains an alkali metal ion and/or an alkaline earth metal ion in a total concentration of 0.1-300 ppm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
