PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system by which a user can change his/her telephone number by himself/herself.;SOLUTION: Each IP telephone can send an instruction for changing corresponding relationship between an IP address and a telephone number attached to the IP telephone system. Specifically, an IP packet storing a telephone number for a new setting contains data indicating that it is an IP packet for changing the corresponding relationship between the telephone number and the IP address. If the server side receives the IP packet, it changes the corresponding relationship between the telephone number and the IP address.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
