PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a cartridge for crushing a rock bed or a concrete structure, in which the destructive power used is the expansion pressure of a commercially available glow fuel for radio-controlled models containing nitromethane as the principal ingredient, which is not an explosive (such as dynamite) requiring license for handling but is a non-explosive, which is easy to handle, methanol, and an oil.;SOLUTION: The crushing cartridge 1 for crushing the rock bed or the concrete structure comprises a PET container 5 which has two leg wires 2 for connection to a high-voltage/high-current generator 6 through two bus bars 8 and containing a glow fuel 4 for radio-controlled models comprising nitromethane as the principal ingredient, methanol, and an oil and in which the other ends of the two leg wires 2 short-circuited with a fine copper-nickel resistance wire 3 are enclosed in the PET container 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
