PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of being miniaturized in a transverse direction without being complicated in the structure of a distributed constant type non-reciprocal element.;SOLUTION: The distributed constant type non-reciprocal element composed of soft magnetic ferrite 20 applied with a bias magnetic field by a permanent magnet, a center conductor 30 having an input output terminal 35 for inducting a micro wave to the soft magnetic ferrite, and a ground conductor is configured so that its non-reciprocal operating frequency fnr satisfy relationship of an expression (3): f1fnrf2 using frequencies f1 and f2 respectively defined by an expression (1) and an expression (2) wherein the saturation magnetization of the inside of the soft magnetic ferrite is 4πMs, the bias magnetic field of the inside of the soft magnetic ferrite is Hin, and a magnetic rotation ratio is γ.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
