PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer for an adhesive without any residual paste when detached after sticking to a stuck material for a long time. SOLUTION: A polymer for an adhesive used together with a crosslinking agent having two or more functional groups x in a molecule has at least one functional group reactive to the functional groups x of the crosslinking agent, and is obtained by radically polymerizing a monomer component containing essentially an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a monomer having the highest reactive functional group X with the functional groups x of the above crosslinking agent of the above functional groups contained in the polymer for the adhesive.
