PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure whether or not a ligand is bonded to a specimen.;SOLUTION: This sensor unit 12 comprises a prism 14 and a flow path member 18. A linker membrane 23, with the ligand to be fixed thereon, is formed on an upper surface of the prism 14. The linker membrane has a long and narrow shape. A flow path 16 for feeding a specimen solution to the linker membrane 23 is formed on the path member 18. The specimen solution is put into the flow path 16 from an inlet 16a. The put-in specimen solution passes through a confronting portion 16c confronting the linker film 23 and is discharged from an outlet 16b. A bonding reaction of the linker membrane 23 to the specimen is measured by utilizing an SPR. A metallic film 31 serving as a measurement point is set on the upstream side of one half of the entire length of the flow path 16. Because of this, measurement is performed on the upstream side where the amount of bonding is large, and therefore, a high-output detection signal is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
