Bus stop and bus timetable update system

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for presenting a schedule to which the accurate arrival time of each bus arriving at a bus stop is reflected to a bus user. PSOLUTION: This system is structured of a bus equipped with radio communication equipment, a plurality of bus stops equipped with a display means which displays a schedule for performing radio communication with the radio communication equipment, a location information transmitting means arranged at a predetermined spot in the middle of the running route of a bus for transmitting the location information of its own bus and a passage time when the bus has passed to the radio communication equipment at the time of detecting the passage of the bus and a base station for collecting the location information and the passage time associated with the identification information of the bus, and received by the radio communication equipment. Then, the base station is added with a function which calculates the update time of the schedule based on the collected identification information, location information and passage time, and distributes the update time to a plurality of bus stops.
