PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid feed system capable of shortening a rise time of a pump.;SOLUTION: This liquid feed system has the first and second pumps equipped with plungers, and a suction port and a discharge port, and discharges liquid sucked through the suction port from the discharge port via the first and second pumps. In a starting operation mode, the second pump is stopped and only the first pump is operated. When a discharge pressure of the discharge port reaches a prescribed value, the starting operation mode is switched to a steady operation mode.
