PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the state of a user or client program to be reflected on information managed by a presence server even when the user or client program does not consciously update presence information, and to prevent a conflict from occurring in a relationship of a state to be substitutively notified to a user or a terminal.;SOLUTION: A presence state updating means which operates in a timing of a state change and notifies the changed state to the presence server, is provided within a session control server.
