PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing blanket combined with a thickness regulating body for preventing a shock streak, and a mounting method thereof.;SOLUTION: The printing blanket is combined with the thickness regulating body. At the end part on the gripper side, the blanket and the thickness regulating body are fixed integrally to a mounting bar, while at the end part opposite to the gripper side, the blanket alone is fixed to the mounting bar. The length of the thickness regulating body is so set that the end part thereof opposite to the gripper side is positioned between the printing surface in the printing blanket and the edge part of a blanket cylinder.
