A method of reducing sporulation of V. inaequalis by administering EARTHTEC® or a derivative of EARTHTEC®. A method of reducing the dispersal of ascospores from V. inaequalis-infected apple debris in orchards by administering EARTHTEC® or a derivative of EARTHTEC®.
