The fryer has a case (1) comprising a temperature adjusting button with a temperature scale in an index face of a side of a frying container (7). The case has an upper part equipped with a protection cover (2) that partially covers the adjusting button such that the button is accessed by an opposite side of the frying container for operating the adjusting button. The cover has an opening (4) for reading the temperature scale on the temperature adjusting button. The cover is made of a transparent plastic material, where the cover has a smooth mirror finishing surface.
