METHOD AND DESIGN OF POWER SOURCE DUE TO FREE FALL OF LIGHT OBJECTS AND EVENTUAL FLOATABILITY IN WATER THEREOF

The method and desing are applied in power generation. Mechanical power is provided by them and it may eventually be converted into electric one. The method is to use the free fall of light objects in an air chamber and eventual employment of the lift force created by their floatability in a water chamber. The structure is placed in water at a dam (18) and it comprises three chambers ûan air chamber (5), a transitional chamber (4) and a water chamber (3) where light objects (14) circulate passing in succession through the three chambers. The water chamber (3) is mounted on a frame (1) together with a drive (2). The drive (2) comprises two shafts-lower shaft (8) and upper shaft (9) with belt or chain wheels respectively lower one (10) and upper one (11). Valves (15,16,17) are placed in between every two of three chambers û the water one (3), the transit one (4) and the air one (5).
