USE OF AZITROMYCIN, MEDICINAL PRODUCT FOR THE TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL CONJUNTIVITES, PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING AN EYE INFECTION TREATMENT AND PACKAGING FOR A MEDICINAL PRODUCT FOR THE TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL CONJUNTIVITES. The invention relates to the use of azithromycin for the industrial manufacture of an ocular infection treatment medicament, essentially consisting of azithromycin in solution in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier of medium chain straight chain fatty acid triglycerides at a concentration of 1 to 2 % for twice daily topical application to each eye to be treated for less than four days.
