Method for the removal of material in partu00ecculas of submicron from chlorinated drinking water by the addition of a sequential polu00ecmero catiu00c8nico followed by the addition of a polymeric aniu00c8nico. A method for removing material in colloidal particles of submicron, and hydrocarbons from the water.The method includes adding first a cationic polymer soluble and chitosan, a salt, or a solution of chitosan to water containing materials in submicron particles and a halogenation agent, followed by addition of a polymer aniu00e2nico, soluble or anion salt to the water. The resulting flakes are filtered to remove the materials into particles of submicron.
