The present invention relates to a system for communication and data transmission on highways, whose main objective is to present to the driver of the vehicle movement on the highway information such as the speed limit of the road.In addition to the messages with the speed limit, the system can also provide other messages of importance to the driver, relating to the signalling condition of time, information on accidents, traffic jam, dangerous curves, among other applications.The present invention includes transmitters (1) modules, modules receivers (2) and communication means between said modules (1) and modules transmitters receivers (2). The data communication between the module (1) and the transmitter receiver module (2) is made by means of radio waves.The control module (12) of the receiver module (2) communicates with a module of sound signals (13) or voice, to a monitor or liquid crystal panel (14) or even with the automatic control lever (15) of the vehicle.
