Proposes a method and a device for electromagnetic examination of electrically resistant objectives potentially containing Hydrocarbon deposits. The proposed method and the device are characterized by a High Sensitivity to targets containing hydrocarbons and an ability to work in shallow and Deep Water.The Apparatus includes a Transmitter provides current pulses in water (2) through a Wire transmitter, vertical or horizontal Submerged (7a, 7b, 8) and a registration subsystem (9) connected to electrodes (11) receptors in the vertical or horizontal wires (10a, 10b).The transmitter generates a sequence of impulses with precise termination of the Electric Current, the electric field is measured in water in breaks between these impulses.
