The invention relates to the valuation of reliability, quality and other values preferably of building materials, articles, operations and systems as well as industrial and ecological environment for the purpose of ecological and industrial safety and sequencing of production methods and directed for reliability enhancement of normative properties of materials and articles, creation of an easy-to-use method of two-stage record of statistical variation of resistance of the materials and articles being tested in vitro. The essence of the method is characterised in that at least 4 samples are initially tested, then medians of a definable parameter and a coefficient of variation thereof are defined based on the results of the tests, and a minimal number of tests are defined based on the median of the definable parameter, potential decrease or increase thereof, the coefficient of variation and the necessary coefficient of statistical reliability.
