Subject: device for the safe sucking of mucus from baby’s nose. Constitution: a tubular body 2 furnished with a front nozzle having the stem 3, a sliding piston 6 which, being displaced by the propelling rod 12, divides the body 2 into an anterior and a posterior chamber A, P respectively. The piston 6 comprises the safety means 5, 4c, 6b limiting the value of depression created by the nozzle 3 so that said value can not exceed the value obtained at the moment when the axial hole 3a of the nozzle is blocked by the mucal membrane 23 of the nose; the aforementioned means bring into communication -upon disconnection of the members of the piston- the anterior chamber A with the posterior chamber P and this last with the outside through a side opening.
