Sample holder has been developed for measuring thermal diffusivity of disc shape non conducting sample in temperature range 5 to 300K. The sample holder has been designed and machined out from a single oxygen free high conductivity copper rod to reduce the temperature gradient across the sample. In this regard adequate measure has been taken to increase the surface area of the sample holder.
