The present invention is related to the treatment of industrial waste. The pesticide effluents are mixed with the animal waste like cow dung. The activated cow dung microbial consortium and the pesticide effluents allowed to react for 12 hrs under the aerobic conditions. The suspension is then allowed to flow through the series of the bioreactors. The bio-reactor comprising activation reactor, soil reactor and immobilized biomass reactor. The process leads to biodegradation of hazardous waste in phase manner using novel cow-dung microbial consortium in a designed and developed sequence biological reactor. 25
