METHOD OF PREDICTION OF AVASCULAR NECROSIS FOLLOWING TALAR NECK FRACTURES

Invention pertains to orthopaedics and particularly to fractures of foot bones. It provides for a method for predicition of late complications in patients with displaced talar neck fractures. The method provides for an examination of range of movements at the ankle joint 4-12 months after the displaced talar neck fracture. Detecting painful flexion in the ankle joint less than 200 and decrease of extension till 00 the avascular necrosis of talar bone and osteoarthrosis of ankle joint can be predicted.
