The invention relates to chemistry, namely to the synthesis of coordinative compounds from the class of thiosemicarbazonates of transition metals that can find their application in medicine for prophylaxis and treatment of prostate cancer.Summary of the invention consists in the synthesis of perchlorate of 5-R-salicylidene-4-phenylthiosemicarbazonato(1-)-aquacopper(II) of general formula:where R=Br, NO2.The coordinative compounds possess properties of inhibitors of 17β-HSD enzyme activity (type 1), stimulator for prostate cancer cell proliferation.
